New Cat Breed Recognition @ TICA

Experimental Cat Breeds.. For those people looking that may think that someone just thinks up a name and a new breed is born. The chart will show you otherwise. This is the time and effort that goes into getting approved names at just one of the governing bodies. Most of the major governing council have a similiar process that needs to be conformed too.

  2. hi Anonymous.
If the cat you have, has been used as part of forming the breed, but was not registered at the onset, then you may be able to register the cat as a suitable outcross and incorporate it into the breeding programme. Alternatively contact the governing body that is now registering the breed,Or the Breed Club.
